A common question we get asked is, do subliminal messages work while sleeping? Subliminal messages played while you are sleeping are very effective. We are now recommending that you listen to subliminal programs while you sleep. Our programs are designed to place you in a very relaxed state of mind.
They are best played right before going to sleep at night and now we recommend that you continue listening to them while you sleep. The reason subliminal messages work while you are sleeping is that your mind is shut off and you are no longer thinking about your problems or worries.
When listening to subliminals in this state of mind they will bypass your conscious mind and go straight into your subconscious, since the gatekeeper is asleep. The subliminals go straight to your subconscious and start to change your beliefs. Once your beliefs change you will automatically begin to attract whatever your desire is.
It is an easy way to make the Law of Attraction work for you, without fail. Almost all of our beliefs have been programmed into us between birth and the age of seven. We are all born with a blank slate. If you have self-defeating programs running in your subconscious mind this is where they came from. If you have trouble making money, finding love, getting into bad relationships again and again or having trouble getting your ex back…then you have a self-defeating program running in your subconscious.
Some of you will listen to subliminals while awake possibly trying to visualize the preferred outcome of your desire and have difficulty doing this.Fototapete wohnzimmer grun
Bad or past memories may enter your thoughts while listening, therefore, sabotaging your efforts. You cannot attract your desire by thinking of past failures. Remember, we attract what we think about. The downside of listening to subliminals while sleeping is finding a comfortable pair of headphones or earbuds. Personally, I have trouble sleeping on my back so I needed to find a soft pair of earbuds so I could sleep on my side.
If any of you are wondering, yes I listen to subliminals every night. Update: I purchased a pair of sleep headphones from eBay. They are Bluetooth and are built into a headband, like a sweatband. It can also double as a sleep mask. Very comfortable and it will not fall off. The good news is that you can easily change your subconscious beliefs by reprogramming it using subliminal programs.Started by MMJuly 2, Posted July 2, Since a couple days I try to put on a positive confidence affirmation for 1 hour while drifting into sleep.
Anybody tried this? Do you think it could work? I self enquire whilst going to sleep, it's unbelievably effective! One time I was self enquiring and I had this crazy feeling go through my body, it woke me up! I was like To increase confidence and self-love.
Does Listening to Affirmations in Your Sleep Work?
I know it would probably be better to say them to myself, but I feel so stupid talking to myself I cant get over it. Thats why I just listen to them at sleep. The trick with affirmations is that they don't usually work if there is an incongruency within you. Your emotional states and goals can only be accomplished if there is congruence between all the parts of yourself.
Increasing confidence and self-love is too vague in most cases, the unconcious brain that you are trying to affect doesn't know what this means. So first, ask yourself what is it right now that is making me feel low confidence, what are the pictures, memories that come up. Are there parts of you that actually get a secret benefit from not being confident like maybe avoding taking risks or taking on responsibilities?
Once you have identified why you feel low confidence try reframing it, ask yourself if you can let go of that and try coming up with new ways of interpreing your low confidence. So you are most likely confident in some areas of your life, and this realization can lead to an affirmation like this.
As with self love, you have to be specific, how do you know that you feel self love and what does it mean to you, why don't you feel self love? Posted July 3, Etagnwo I get what you are saying and I would normally sign that, I was a "realist" for the last 10 years and all it made me was depressed.Living your highest ecstasy and bliss through powerful solutions, joining communities together and creating our new reality of joy, based on love, happiness and support of nature. I cannot describe in words how powerful the following technique can be. The power lies in using the tremendous power of questions, rather than affirmations, directed at guiding and programming the deepest parts of our being and our subconscious mind. If you do not utilize this technique, at least use the power of questions to transform your life. Let me break this down for people as to why questions are so powerful.
This is not my opinion but from NLP experts and basic research into how the brain works. Therefore the brain and mind IS directionalized by questions, and moves in a certain direction depending on the questions asked. This is more powerful than an affirmation and Rex Sikes estimates questions can be up to X more powerful! Where an affirmation may be affirming something you desire, a question generates lots of new ideas, solutions and concepts that can help move you in the new direction, more easily and enjoyably and quickly.
Questions force your mind to focus on the new direction, and can circumvent tail-enders because of the powerful assumption and presumptions built-in, which in my cases bypasses the conscious mind! Because you are generating answers and solutions, questions can be the perfect tool to move into the new reality immediately, rather than wait for the affirmation to start making changes.
Every belief and knowing in our minds is supported by reasoning and references as to why it is real, so why not use the power of references to reinforce emotionally and logically why our afformation or new reality statement is not only true, but absolutely positively true.
To make this easier I would identify strong key references to reinforce this new reality and use one core reference each time the question is asked. For example if it is money and abundance Questions powerfully shift you state and being. That is it! I have experienced that questions powerfully focus us onto solutions, and solutions seem to energize us quite effectively, and give us momentum.
Whilst an affirmation can surface tail-enders and simply affirm a new reality, you will find that the affirmation will allow solutions to surface. With questions we are flushing out effective solutions more effectively, which in turn spurs us into getting excited about taking action, and building momentum to create our desires and dreams.
Even if it is a small thing, a question can create some momentum which is better than starting from still. However, clinical hypnotherapist Fiona Brennan points out that more recent scientific evidence has revealed that we can rewire our brains, alter our thoughts, perceptions and experiences, and change a negative mindset into a positive one.
Neuroplasticity research demonstrates that the brain is flexible and malleable, as opposed to being rigid and unchangeable, and has the ability to change and adapt throughout life. Brennan says she sees evidence of this every day in her Dublin hypnotherapy clinic, where clients from all over the country attend for treatment for anxiety, stress, low mood and other common mental health issues.
Nobody is born worrying, we are born in a positive frame of mind. Once you sign up online for the programme, you follow a different pathway each week, watch videos featuring Fiona Brennan, carry out simple exercises and listen to self-hypnosis MP3s. I started the programme last July with an open, yet slightly sceptical mind, having tried many other alternatives over the years that did not have any long-term beneficial impact on my anxiety levels and mood. My goal at the outset of the programme was to become more positive, get more energy, and to enjoy life more.
Having read far too many self-help and positive psychology books over the years without ever really getting anything of value out of them, I was much more interested in the MP3 element of this programme. What really appealed to me was the fact that listening to the hypnotherapy recordings would not take any time out of my already jam-packed day as a working mum of three young children. Every night in bed for 20 minutes, I listened to the MP3s through earphones.
I often fell asleep while listening to the recordings but as Brennan explains, this is not a problem, as your subconscious absorbs the messages.
That was the main reason I stuck with the programme: a self-help programme that works while you snooze and in fact sends you into a deeper sleep, happy days!
Another reason was that I could feel the benefits after one week. I felt a general sense of calm and wellbeing that I cannot remember experiencing before, having lived with depression since my early teens.
When a major family trauma hit out of the blue at the end of week two, I coped with it far better than I ever would have expected to.Tuan danial episode 1
In the middle of the programme, we went abroad on a family holiday, which turned out to be the best holiday I have had in years. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it which was very unusual, as over the years, I tended to struggle with major changes in my routine like holidays. As well as the MP3s, I found the affirmations worked really well for me. One of the exercises involves identifying three positive core emotions that link back to a happy time in your life and using these in your affirmations eg mine were I am happy, I am positive, I am energised.
I said those every night before bed, every morning when I woke and any time during the day when I felt the need to do so. Brennan also provides a number of stress reduction techniques for moments of high anxiety.
I knew from the way I felt that the programme had worked for me, but the proof was in the pudding when I saw that the result of my survey at the end of week six was We all have the right to achieve our goals and to do so no matter what method you choose, as long as you do not harm anyone, of course. Fortunately, in recent years there has been an awareness that we can all achieve our goals through techniques that any of us can apply.
Today we have all heard about quantum physics, subliminal audiosmetaphysics and the Law of Attraction. There is another method that is also very effective: positive affirmations to reprogram the mind and achieve what we want.
The best time to listen to affirmations is while we sleep. Many people are surprised to hear this and wonder: does listening to affirmations in your sleep work? The answer is yes because when we sleep our ego and our critical sense are also asleep, then the affirmations come directly to the subconscious mind, managing to reprogram our belief system. In this way, our mind is programmed to achieve our goals. Here are some good ideas to make listening to positive affirmations overnight work for you to finally achieve your goals.
Be honest with yourself. However, you can also try listening to affirmations while you sleep, because it can be a little uncomfortable at first, but then you get used to it. Define exactly what you want. Then choose the affirmations you will listen to while you sleep according to your goals.
There must be absolute coherence between your goals and the affirmations you will hear to achieve them. The more specific your goal is, the easier it will be to achieve it.
Once you have decided that you are going to listen to affirmations while you sleepyou must prepare your bedroom for that purpose. Your room should be clean and tidy and the light should be off. Of course, do not bring your laptop, tablet or cell phone to bed. You should lie in your bed and fall asleep while listening to the affirmations. A secret to reach your goal : before falling asleep imagine in your mind your objective fulfilled.
For example: the house you want to buy, the car you want to drive or your dream job. The minutes before we fall asleep are the most effective to visualize what we want to achieve.Gibson support serial number search
This happens because the mind is relaxed and accessible to the incorporation of new ideas, in this case, positive affirmations. Before you fall asleep listening to affirmationsjust relax and take a deep breath. These thoughts create anxiety, so be optimistic and hope for the best. The important thing is that you feel comfortable and at ease while listening to them.Install key powerful, positive principles and beliefs the same way advertisers condition you to buy their products.
Programming The Subconscious Mind While Sleeping
Affirmations are positive statements that when repeated enough times become one with the speaker or listener. They are extremely effective in creating change if used repeatedly and effectively.
Poor or low self-esteem on the other hand can be quite detrimental to our well-being and even our very existence. Negative self-esteem can create anxiety, stress, loneliness, depression, problems with relationships, seriously impair academic and job performance and also can generate an increased vulnerability to drug and alcohol abuse and dependency.
On the other hand, a person with positive self-esteem tends to be more motivated in taking on and creating a life that he loves, living it powerfully and in this process be authentically related to others in his community. Having positive self-esteem appears to be necessary for having a happy and healthy existence regardless of who we are or what profession we are taking on in life.
For every feeling or emotion that we have, either positive or negative, there is a corresponding thought that we have about ourselves that generates the experience of self-esteem. Self-esteem is really about our thinking, and more specifically about the thoughts that we develop or create about ourselves. We also tend to think of our self-esteem as being something that is shaped by the events that take place in our life.
We tend to think that the cause of how we think about ourselves and who we think we are self-esteemis due to circumstances, situations, people, places and things. We do not tend to think that our self-esteem is something we create. As meaning making machines we give meaning to everything in our life including and most importantly to ourselves. While events do happen, it is not the events that are important but rather the meaning that we give them.
Given the fact that our thoughts determine our feelings and emotions and we are truly responsible for their creation, it is also follows that it is within our capability to change or transform them and thereby our self esteem. When we realize we are the real authors of our self-image and self-esteem, we will stop blaming something or somebody else and take responsibility for our own lives. Self-esteem can be improved through the use of positive affirmations.
Consistent use of positive affirmations will transform the negative beliefs a person has about him or her self into positive new ones, and will begin to alter the basis and structure of their self talk or inner voice thereby producing a transformation from poor self-esteem to positive self-esteem.
However, even though most of us are aware of this powerful technique for change, it can be much more difficult than it seems. Simple because in our everyday hectic lives we often cannot seem to find the time to set aside even a short period of time for this most important endevor. Also our negative mindset can often subconsciously prevent us from carrying out on our best intentions and achieving our goals.Zorin os lite iso size
Combine this with the fact that few of us seem to have the necessary discipline to follow through on what we know to be a powerful and constructive way to change our lives and it is easy to see why so many people just slip back into their old tired but comfortable ways of thinking. The key to the effective use of positive affirmation in this or any other type of intervention is consistency. Negative thoughts and self image are usually well established in the belief system. In many cases the development of a negative self-image took years to create and has been reinforced through repetitive behavioral validation.
Once a person creates and then believes that a self-limiting belief is true he will continually act as if it is true. Imagine if there was a way that by simple pressing play on your CD player you could be assured that you would have the necessary exposure required to bring about effective long lasting and permanent change in the way you think and self talk.
By consistently listening to and practicing the positive affirmations the individual will have the opportunity to begin to redefine themselves, enhancing not only their self image but also their life. With the acceptance of the words and language contained within the positive affirmations, will come an improved self-image and with it an experience of positive self esteem.
Altering how a person thinks, improves how they feel about themselves. With an improved self-image and enhanced self-esteem you can become ALL that you want in your life.

Commit to change. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. If you are looking to effect change in your outlook and in your life then please read below. What Is Self Esteem For every feeling or emotion that we have, either positive or negative, there is a corresponding thought that we have about ourselves that generates the experience of self-esteem.
Concerning all acts of initiative and creationthere is one elementary truth the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too.The average American sleeps some 7. The idea that you can learn new things through some sort of magical mental osmosis while you sleep has long been wishful thinking.
But a new study by Northwestern University researchers indicates that, depending on what we hear during the night, it is indeed possible to reinforce existing memories and enhance our recall after we wake up. In the study, published today in the journal Nature Neurosciencethe research team first had participants learn how to play a pair of songs by pressing keys on a keyboard in a specific sequence.
Then the test subjects were left in a dark, comfortable room to take a minute nap. Once the participants were in slow-wave sleep—the deepest part of the sleep cycle, which the research team suspected was the stage most conducive to memory enhancement—one of the songs was played repeatedly.
When tested after their naps, the participants consistently performed better at recalling and playing the song they had heard while sleeping, compared to the other tune. This differs from the apocryphal concept of learning new information—say, a foreign language, or material for an upcoming exam—simply by listening to it during the night.
Rebera psychologist at Northwestern and co-author of the study, in a press release. Additionally, the researchers measured brain activity during the sleep stage of the experiment. Previous work by members of the same team had indicated just how surprisingly active our brains are during sleep—and how we might exploit this activity to improve memory.
In a studythe researchers had participants memorize associations between various images and sounds with locations on a computer screen before taking a nap. Then, while the subjects slept, the researchers played some of the sounds back to them.
For the researchers, the experiment demonstrated a counterintuitive fact about sleep: although previous studies assumed that mind would be most active during rapid-eye movement REM sleep, which is when most dreams occur, it seems that the deeper slow-wave sleep is actually a period of significant mental activity.
The new study establishes that this tendency might lend itself to the intentional reinforcement of memorizing relatively complex tasks. The researchers plan to further probe this ability by testing whether other sorts of memories, such as motor skills or other habits, might be enhanced by exposure to stimuli during sleep. In the meantime, this experiment should be inspiring for enterprising do-it-yourself folks interested in maximizing their own memory potential.
